So when we look at a very distant galaxy its light is shifted by the doppler effect... from it's velocity relative to us, but also the cosmological redshift from the fact that the light is moving through space that is expanding... there are many distant galaxies that have redshifts that- if attributed solely to doppler- would imply they are moving away from us faster than the speed of light. In a pretty real way they are moving away from us faster than the speed of light...
But....
93 billion ly is not necessarily the size of the universe... its just how far out we can see... its only our OBSERVABLE universe... the 'universe' could be infinite for all we know... in fact some cosmological models say it is....
