In may 2018, I went there with a group of friends and we would gather near the Todoque church (to decide where to go and with which car).
The church has vanished.
Friends are planning for a trip there in october. But even if where they planned to go is far away, if the airport is covered with ashes, no way can they travel there. OTOH, other friends are living most the year at the island of Lanzarote. If the La Palma airport is not accessible, I wonder how they'd come back.
