I'm not sure why people dismiss the idea out of hand. The number of people on the left who decry America's power and wealth are legion. We constantly hear from those of the leftist persuasion how the US uses far too many resources, how the US uses its unmatched power to bully and interfere with other countries, and how guilty we should feel for having so much while the rest of the world has so little. Is it really that farfetched to think that maybe someone like Obama, who's political idols are from the extreme fringes of the far left, just might want to do something about that devil known as Amerikkka?
