I accept the premise of Obama's plan, but disagree with the assertion that he is competent. And when Root writes "With the acts outlined above, Obama and his regime have created a vast and rapidly expanding constituency of voters dependent on big government;" he steps into pure fantasy land. Holy mackerel, this has been developing and expanding since Roosevelt! If Obama were competent and brilliant he would have seen his opportunity to take a longer view and reinforce the 60 years of socialist gains. But in his immaturity, impatience and incompetence he showed us his radical agenda and allowed a "holy shit" moment from the latent libertarian wing of the aware population. Thank goodness for his incompetence.
