uploading
Go to the dashboard by clicking the link in the control panel on the right side.
In the dashboard, on the left, is a tab for media. Click on that and go to the library, select upload. Brose for your file, upload it.
It will appear in the library. Click edit. The URL will be at the bottom.
Then link to it in the editor.
