Looks like you're off by a decimal point, Eri. I translate that into 39.8 megabits/second upload, and about 24 the second time. 54 mS ping isn't too bad, either; a "ping" as named after the sonar echo, and it's the roundrip time from your computer out to some switch gear on the net.

When I test, I google "bandwidth test" and then use the first four services on the list. That spreads the test around multiple geographical locations, which evens out variations caused by distance. What's left is the raw speed of your ISP.

My results just now:

http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/ : 2.25 megabits/second upload...oh, wait, this PC is on the other end of my apt's wireless net. 2.25 is impossibly low even for Comcast.
