I often muse about this topic. Depends on the reactor and where it is located. Does it get destroyed by erosion, taking all that material downstream. Or does it get buried?

This is one of the arguments about how to define the start of the Anthropocene. The presence of radioactive nucleotides is a good candidate, in my opinion.
