Over-the-top? Yeah... if you go back to the origin of the idiom in WWI, I think that is a fair descriptor.

My tone is intentional. I am NOT delusional enough to think these creatures can be swayed with reason, or appeals to their humanity- my goal isn't to try and convince them of the error of their ways... I did try, early on in 2015 and 2016, to reason with RobVG- and we all know how that went.

I am not trying to sway or rally the libs here... you all already see what is going on... I also know my tone makes you cringe. As for 'anger and hate', well, I would quibble on that... I see anger and outrage as two very distinct things. I am slow to anger, but very quick to outrage. Outrage is the only proper response to the circumstances we find ourselves in. As for 'hate'? Perhaps... in the same way as I 'hate' cancer.

So why do I bother? No one is going to be swayed by my words- they will continue being monsters, they will continue destroying what is left of our democracy, they will continue their progression to ever greater atrocities... all while constructing an alternate reality fiction that allows them to do these unspeakable things and still pretend they are good people.

That fiction- it is crucial to them. They desperately NEED it. That fiction is all they have- no matter how absurd it is... They do great evil, and they know it- but they need to at least pretend they are doing it for noble reasons... that they really are good people fighting the good fight.

So, white christian men invent a fictional world where they are the brutally oppressed underclass. They invent a conspiracy theory to justify the evil things they want to do- Elite pedophile liberals are trying to replace them with minorities, surely any atrocity is justified for them to combat that- right?

That they want to commit atrocities, that they WILL commit atrocities is a foregone conclusion- they are monsters, that is just what they do. But they NEED that fiction so they can get maximum enjoyment from the carnage they have been fantasizing about committing. They can cosplay and pretend they are patriotic holy warriors as they engage in the most evil of atrocities.

So I guess that is why I post these 'rants'... not to convince anyone, but to make sure they never get to forget that we see through their pathetic little fiction- we see them as the vile little monsters they are. We see their Gordian knots of hypocrisy they have tied themselves into. They are worthy only of contempt and disgust.

It won't stop them from doing what they plan to do, but it will make it less enjoyable. It slightly sours their little fiction.

Is it productive to deconstruct their fiction? Not really... Is it spiteful on my part? Oh hell yes...

But what else is there to do on this long ride to apocalypse?

Appeasing them is only slitting your own throat.
Violence? That is a tool that can only be wielded successfully by the monsters in this situation.
So, at least, we can spoil their fun... And never let them forget that they are, deep down, nothing more than ugly little monsters. All their pretense, their transparent self-serving fictions are pathetic unbelievable fantasies scrawled in crayon.

We could, instead, watch our words and try not to offend them too much as they burn down the world- but why? There is no moral high-ground gained by tipping your executioner, we are under no obligation to help them feel good about the evil they do.

The moral thing to do is make their fiction as painful as possible for them to play out.
