I’ve never been one to go down the bigger car, bigger house route. I have the same size house and car as I always have had. Sure, a bigger car and house would be lovely but I made the choice not to go down that route as I don’t need them. The benefits are good, I haven’t had a mortgage since I was in my late 20s. That’s the only reason we haven’t ended up homeless so I have no regrets.
