If Trump does die by a violent act, I don't think the violence will have its origin on the Left. It will be from the Right, from his own hangers-on and fellow travelers who will seek to inflame his followers with conspiracy theories. The motive will be to remove him so they can step into his shoes. I can think of a half-dozen names I see as perfectly capable of doing this. It won't be an American Brutus, it will be more of a Roy Cohn, Joe McCarthy moment. It will be designed to look like a Leftist plot, and its motivation will be to propel his assassins to power.
