Follow up mission
In a few years HERA will do all the exploring of that binary asteroid system you could ever want, and at the same time take a close up look at the results of the impact. So maybe it's not in the sequence you'd like but it's happening, and we'll get more data this way. There was also a micro probe that detached from DART a few weeks ago that supposedly filmed the impact. I cannot wait to see that!
