I don't know a whole lot about quantum computing (or quantum mechanics for that matter). Just the basics that entanglement can be used to move information. So forgive me if this question seems naive.

If the universe is indeed a quantum computer simulation, wouldn't that imply design even if it's not the same as the general universe simulation theory? How likely is a random universe size quantum computer simulation?
