You can't punish a man for a crime until he's been proven guilty of committing it..

Everybody knows Trump is as guilty as hell of trying to stage a coup d'etat against the legal and legitimate government of the United States. But constitutionally, he is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. If a court can find him guilty, fine, prevent him from running, and THEN, lock him up.

I know its a technicality, but if we can declare him guilty without a trial, then we are just as bad as he is. As far as I know, everyone who went to prison for Jan 6 activities was convicted in a trial. Trump should be no different.
