Jeff Goldberg is a highly respected journalist (The Atlantic, Washington Week)
Who is both pro-Israel and anti-Trump. The former is probably why he was put in the loop on this caper, the latter is something that was probably overlooked by the bozos in the White House. Yes, discussing war plans on the Internet is sheer imbecility.
I trust Goldberg, I make it a point to watch his show on PBS every Friday. Of all the Network TV news shows, his is the best, IMO. Jeff has handled this affair superbly. I can see Congress is already in an uproar about it.
Personally, I'm happy to see the Houthis get spanked for all the trouble they're causing, its long overdue. But its pretty clear the primary justification for this strike is to give Trump politics a gold star, not any legitimate National Security reason.
