When I saw this news my first thought was it was about the claims on the right that Omar was tied to the Somali medicare scam and her alleged offshore bank accounts. Seems it is in fact related to her immigration status after being a citizen for nearly three decades. I'm not particularly a fan of Omar or the rest of "the Squad", but I'd be surprised if this was a legit investigation.
