First off, all you BSG haters can go fly your ships into the sun.

OK, with the pleasantries out of the way, BSG: The Plan is a really terrific movie. Edward James Olmos directed the film with incredible skill. The whole cast is great, but Dean Stockwell is a standout, hilarious and disturbing as Number 1, the architect of the Cylon attack. Micael Trucco's character, Anders, plays a central role in the story and Trucco carries it well.

The movie doesn't just fill in gaps in POV, it introduces whole new storylines and puts some pretty cool twists on what we thought we knew about the BSG universe.

Oh, and the visual effects are stunning. The Cylon attack, with nukes pouring out of the sky like a hailstorm from God, is mesmerizing.
