Over the holidays I visited my mom in So Cal and she watches Faux News in the evenings. Hanity came on with a one hour show dedicated to the NYC terrorist trials. The show was set up to look like a town hall meeting, however there was NOT ONE single person there, either audience or panel member, from the opposing point of view.

The reoccurring question asked over and over during this show was "Why would they hold these trials in NYC?" The "experts" there would talk about how this made NY more of a terror target; it would cost NYC money for security; it would open NY'ers old wounds; etc etc etc. For an hour this was pounded on over and over and over, but NEVER ONCE did anyone on this show ever mention the real answer WHY NYC was selected for this trial.

NYC has by far and away the most experienced prosecution team for terrorist cases in America. Getting convictions here are far more likely because of the expertise in these cases this team has. In a prime time "news" show dedicated specifically to the subject of why the trials are in NYC, to NEVER mention this fact is underhanded, deceitful and proves that Faux is untrustworthy as a news source. It was pure propaganda, not news.

As an aside, there was also a woman in the audience who was a relative of a 911 victim, who claimed she asked AG Eric Holder if he would not interrogate OBL if he was captured, and claimed Holder said he wouldn't. What kind of preposterous bullshit is that??? OF COURSE he would be interrogated. What kind of idiot would ever think he wouldn't? No he wouldn't be waterboarded or tortured in any other way, but to claim he wouldn't be interrogated simply because we no longer torture people is sheer idiocy. Again, no one on the show offered any dissent to this nonsense.
