The actual decision is complex, and involves several separate opinions. Actual legal people who are studying it, never mind amateurs like me, are still poring over all the ramifications.
I suggest not letting some idiot at Newsweek do your analysis for you.
So far, unions already seem to be holding their own in the political contribution department. Just looking at Newsweek, it seems like the Democratic Party already gets a great deal of political advertising from certain corporations already and for free, at that.
