Their coin is power. To the best of my knowledge, Stalin never held much of a real job. According to his biography he spent his early adult life as a revolutionary; organizing strikes, leading demonstrations, distributing pamphlets, giving speeches, and attacking industrial facilities. You might be looking through the wrong end of those binoculars.
Compassion? When someone like Obama says "I am going to give everyone a free college education," not one damn nickel of it is coming out of his hide, and there is not one bit of real effort on his part required. People like me (or Cain) define "compassion" as reaching for your own wallet, not someone else's.
And yes, Cain's basically right. Despite the desperate attempts of Democrats to paint these people as the vanguard of a new middle-class revolution (having run smack up against a real one in 2010), most of these protesters are a pile of whining, brainless cannon fodder for the unions and the Left. I have shown a lot of examples to back that up and believe me, there are a lot more. So far the big countercoup here was to brandish Jesse Ventura as some kind of sign of a serious political foundation. You all are going to have to do better than that.
