If you look at the tables for 909, it looks like a landslide of tax burden from the wealthy to the not so wealthy.
I believe that everyone with any income should be paying some federal tax and no one should ever receive 'negative tax income'. The child tax credit alone adds up to 52 billion dollars a year.
The economy runs on consumer consumption. Wealthy will buy more commodities like legal services, stocks, and one off items like yachts and 20,000 square foot high-rise apartments.
I could be wrong but what happens when you take the money away from those that do the consuming?
