How are most of those "other nations" doing right now?

They've run out of people to loot for their "positive rights." The European nations that are deepest in the hole of "democratic socialism" are tearing at the legs of those who aren't quite beyond salvage yet.

A "right" to houses, jobs(!), medical care, education. All things that have to be paid for by someone else if you can't carry it off yourself.

If you need something, you get to take it from someone else who has it. This is the fundamental moral code of the Left, and the fundamental code of every thug that's held someone up at an ATM. The ideology is imploding around this country and others. We are "way behind the times" in that our streets aren't burning yet. Not for want of trying lately.

There is a limit to how much denial is possible before you start doing damage to yourself.
