I also use the norton AV subscription.
Oddly, I haven't encountered any kind of virus/worm in the last 4-5 years and only once before that.
I read email in the preview pane and seldom open any mail. I will open attachments only from highly trusted sources. I also don't surf down dark alleys.
Still seems incredibly lucky based on what I hear from others.
