I KNOW the first network news reports I saw had interviews with people who said they saw an air-to-air rocket hit the plane.

Then they started interviewing friends of the first people, who said the original interviewees had been told to shut up by the FBI.

There were other people who said the New York Air National Guard was conducting exercises in the area, and had been 8 miles away in the direction from which the missiles came.

Then nothing. People said it was a surface-to-air missile, etc.

I don't think they could cover up the network broadcasts, not all those people.

Or, I didn't hear it. But I sure didn't make it up. A puzzlement.
