Lessons ignored. Don't learn from experience 101

Now, lessee. If the Great Economist were going to send a message, or two, or three, that unrestrained capitalism, capitalism gone too far, equals greed and is bad for people what might that message look like?

If the Great Economist were going to suggest that greed is human nature, and that the baser desires of human nature need to be controlled, how might HE or SHE do that?

I wonder.

Oh, I know. The communists always said that communism didn't get a fair chance, that it was always compromised by political realities. Wasn't the system that failed, it was the political realities which prevented a fair chance.

If the Great Economist were going to say that a bit if capitalism is wonderful, a bit of capitalism is a superb way to provide for a people, AND add that people need to be protected from the greed seems to be to flourish in the capitalist environment in spite of the political realities, I wonder how we would know.

Do you think some people wouldn't get the message? Or would it have to be sent a few more times?

Might.
