Maybe this thing could solve the zebra mussle problem
I've caught similar species (We call 'em dog fish) and how anyone would choose to eat one is beyond me. Sometimes they are called "Lung fish" and yes, they can live for a long time out of water. I've thrown one far back on the bank only to be suprized to see it flounder right back into the water...Best method on elimination: A solid blow to the head with a large stick.
