Why did I think he'd just go away? Why did I think New Yorkers weren't so dumb as to elect Hilary? Same reasons, I guess, that I didn't think the Supreme Court should stop vote-counting and appoint a president.
What's worse - a dumb president with no business morality, or a smart president with no personal morality? It seems to be lack of character which counts.
