TAM-3 launched last night
TAM (Trans-Atlantic Model) is attempting to fly a self-guided model airplane across the Atlantic. The plane has a takeoff weight of 11 pounds (4.9 KG) and carries 5.5 pounds (2.5 KG) of fuel. It's guided by an on-board GPS receiver and can transmit position reports via satcom.
