LED light question

I was just sitting barefoot in my office, listening to my girlfriend read some stuff to me off the 'net when I noticed a wierd effect of one of my server's green power LED light "bending" around one of my naked toes when my toe passed in front of the LED. My toe was about 6 feet away from the LED.

Now, I am aware of the wave/particle duality of light, and did all the cardboard slit interference and other similar experiments in astronomy lab, but the amount of the deflection of the light around my toe seemed rather excessive, and the light seemed still pretty coherent and bright.

Is this also just an effect of wave interference?
