The schools here have an organized system for picking kids up from schools - it is based on allowing cars to idle with the AC's running until their child appears.

Flags are everywhere here 24/7. Its patriot central. If theres a more patriotic group of americans - Id like to meet them.

You see heat makes you sensible. The folks here know what life is all about. They know about hard work and survival. It's almost like a martian colony.

You don't have time for frivolous stupidities such as self-flagellation.

You know right and wrong and try to live by the former and avoid the latter.

You value family, friends, hard work and the planet rewards you with the best sunsets on the face of the earth.

I feel really sorry for those folks. Really. I can't even get angry when I see how messed up they are on the inside.

They will learn someday. They are the product of their enviornment (and possibly heredity) and are endlessly exposed to the folks who build themselves up by tearing others down.

There little section of America is sick and they often are so provincial that they have no comprehension of just how great and how awesome the US really is.

Your karmic bomb scenario is not a fiction - its a fact. They will put themselves in a position to learn balance - and that will keep going on until they no longer are so off-equilibrium in regards to these issues.
