I’ll be willing to bet that in the coming 365 days some trial lawyer will file suit against some public agency for compensation for a client citing something like “sentry fatigue”. Maybe an air marshal, ‘cause clearly they are getting buggy and overreacting already.

“The stress on my client is more than a human should bear. Having to be at a constant state of instant readiness when nothing happens is more than a conscientious, dedicated person such as my client can be expected to tolerate. The strain of protecting his big part of America from the threat of unbridled terrorism has resulted in serious mental and physical difficulties.

"Among many problems, my client has developed obesity from a recent doughnut addiction, a constant rash on his privates from repetitive scratching, eyestrain from looking for that which is not there, coupled with having to read very small paperbacks which can be concealed in a glove, flat feet and a flabby butt. He may never be able to have children again!

“While this man may look to be a healthy 27 y/o, notice the glazed look in his eyes. That’s not blow-by from the doughnuts – that’s the result of having nothing to do but think all day. Devastating! It’s like solitary confinement 8 hours a day for 200 days of a year. Think of it!! Solitary, a punishment usually reserved for only the most hardened criminals!!

“This man will never be able to work again. His life, and that of his 9 children by two ex-wives and his current "fiance", has been effectively ruined. We are asking $100 million, not for my client, but to discourage anyone, anywhere from being so cruel to another human being again. It’s time to teach them a lesson.
