An interesting column listing past, and possible future corruption of the election process by the Democratic Party.
Although the writer uses the even-handed term "Democrats or Republicans" when referring to election eye-gouging and below-the-belt punching, somehow all the examples referred to were done by Democrats.
I can easily see the current Senate refusing to seat a Republican who breaks the tie in the other party's direction. Why? Because they can.
I don't think we've seen anything yet.
Certain Democrats apparently feel that having to soil their hands with the election process, kissing up to their inferiors and all, is a waste of valuable time they could be using to consolidate their socialist agenda. This business of throwing elections to the courts and to hell with the process and laws will prove to be a long step on their way to that wonderful day when they can just forget the stupid ballots like all of their Marxist heroes.
Oh, yeah, I hear you whining about how Gore ended up on the wrong end of the stick in Florida thanks to the nasty Republicans. I've heard this same thing before, from kids:
"Waahhhh! He hit me back!"
A short history of Democratic power lust
