Aaliyah releases new record.
Saturday, Oct. 05, 2002
“Aaliyah, the R. and B. singer and actress who died in a plane crash in August of 2001, will soon be following in the footsteps of Tupac Shakur, Biggie Smalls and Jimi Hendrix: she's coming out with a posthumous CD, featuring material she recorded before she died.”
