Where do they learn it?

Ken Lay, etc. Who sets the examples?

“Christianity is moral” department. Actually, “Christianity” is, at least the “Christ” part. A question would be, are these people really “Christians”? Can one be “Christian” and do these things in order to win basketball games? How deep is their “Christianity” if indeed they are?

“Gardner-Webb University has been embroiled in controversy ever since the school's president admitted he wrote a memo two years ago ordering a star basketball player's GPA to be calculated without an F he received for cheating -- in, of all things, a religion class.”

“The school's trustees affirmed Christopher White's presidency after a 10-hour meeting September 27, though they demoted a pair of administrators who had criticized White's actions.”

And then demote people who protest? What the Hell are they teaching there? Would you want your kid to attend? Why do people send their kids to “Christian” schools?

Should there be the same standard for Christian colleges there is for, say, the University of Alabama? Or is that unfair, because we all know the Christian colleges would LIKE to be moral if they could also win. They “intend” to be moral, when they can, when it doesn’t affect their chances to win.

“Without the change, Carlos Webb would have been ineligible in 2000-01, the season Gardner-Webb won the National Christian College Athletic Association championship.”

Clearly, too, the National Christian College Athletic Association has known about this, and apparently didn’t do anything about it. Ya wonder about that, too.

These guys should now give honorary degrees to the CXOs of Enron, WorldCom, etc.
As well as “A’s” in ethics.

Arf (Some maroon will say “Are you saying that’s as bad as a suicide bomber?” I'm saying they are both immoral.)
