It will be interesting to see longer term how this effects Austrailia
In Austrailia, if I remember correctly, everyone MUST vote in the elections, or else face fines...
I wonder what a policy like that will do to the politics of Australia in light of the recent attack. Will most Austrailians favor taking a stronger stance against terrorism that promises to grow in their own back yard? Or will they vote to look the other way and pretend that it is an American problem?
