I got a pretty good laugh last night watching tv when a political ad came on.

The ad was from Alan Blinken (Democrat) who is running against incumbent Larry Craig (Republican) for US Senate.

Blinken has been running a smear campaign against Craig for a couple of months on TV. Each one of them has been in my opinion pretty flimsy.

In Blinken's ad, it played a small sound bite from Craig where he said "he supported 2nd Ammendment rights." Then the ad tells us how Craig hasn't even had a hunting license in xx amopunt of years. But Alan Blinken not only talks the talk, but walks the walk and is a big game hunter blah blah blah.

I couldn't help but laugh and say "only in Idaho"

One thing Blinken's ad failed to point out is that hunting license or not Craig is on the Board of Directors of the National Rifle Association.

Disclaimer: I am a supporter of Larry Craig, I have never had a hunting license nor am I a member of the NRA, but I do like to shoot holes in targets every so often.
