Where the money comes from
<Pat Tornillo runs a teachers union, funded almost entirely by dues from teachers' salaries. You tell me where the money comes from.
It comes from the teachers, who earned it.
That remark makes just as much sense as me saying that Bill Gates is beholden to me for his charity donations because I bought a software package from his company.
When you pay someone to do a job, and they do it, the money is theirs. The taxpayers can't pull back the strings on wages paid for work done.
The better question is, is Florida a closed-shop state?
