I have seen the photos as well.
I see no big deal.
They are braced against sliding with webbing, they are wearing the same ear muffs many of the soldiers are wearing to protect against the loud noise, they are wearing goggles and mouth guards so they can't talk each other into coordinated attacks.
They are tied up. No big deal.
