If, as SDAI postulates, life, death, karma, and all the rest of the aspects of the Great Wheel are in fact some form of electromagnetic phenomena in the physical world, then by definition we should be able to manipulate them given the right equipment. Just a matter of research and funding. Manipulate the electromagnetic artifacts of human existence, and they can be stored. Harnessed. Reproduced. Altered.

Destroyed.

Electrokarma can be "fixed." Or shifted. Or slipped into someone else's soul. People can be killed. REALLY killed. Forever.

The mind boggles.

I proposed getting entrepreneurs to fund the mechanism required to do this: the Jehovah Engine. When one can actually shuffle souls for bucks, then you'll see some profit rolling in. The old-style indulgences were "amateur hour."

Not serious, of course, but someone should be able to whomp up one HELL of a novel on this idea. I read a novel once called "The Gasp" where scientists figured out how to capture the "soul" of a dying person and harness it for energy use.
