<This is what a black Republican sounds like. It is worth noting that the Left in America loathes this woman (even the column writer has some difficulty with her.) Ask yourself why.

The Left in this country thrives on a black population that is angry, self-pitying, badly-educated, suspicious, and poor. Victims. Such people need the government. Prosperous, educated, self-reliant black people don't. In fact, they may suddenly realize that the government is hurting them more than helping.

This may explain why government programs to aid minorities seem to do a much better job at maintaining the status quo than in getting them off the dependency cycle.
