At the very least it is definitely a mainstream sub-cult of Islam.

It will be interesting to see if Osama is deified in our lifetimes...We may be witnessing the birth of a new religion. Just think some day some preacher might be reading to his congregation a passage from "Osama's 1st letter to the Americans".
