Hmm, the world isn't as Manichean as the current administration thinks.
It's very easy to diabolize this country or that religion.
I've often noticed how "Europe" is being considered a single entity;
It's much more complicated! Can we accept Turkey among the EU, even though Turkey isn't part of Europe (as onlly a tiny enclave is) and the US is pushing towards its inclusion even though it's none of it's business? There is a debate, here, about the opportunity. Pro: it will force Turkey to adopt mre democratic measures; against: it breings mre islamism in Europe which is more christian oriented.
