Either the US is God, OR it's a member of a family of nations.

I think his article was right on.

"Like a playground bully, we have made it clear that there is no answer to our verbal demands that would forestall a punishing physical assault."

Seems to be the situation, all right.

"Certainly no other nation has been willing to allow deeply suspicious foreign experts access to every nook and cranny, even the dictator's bedroom, to ensure that bad things are not being done."

Now, it's taken a lot of credible pressure to get this far, true.

"And the Bush administration acknowledges that its satellites and other means of intelligence have failed to provide a smoking gun to refute Iraq's accounting of its own program."

Yep.

"What if the United States were subject to such an investigation? Might U.N. inspectors find the source of the anthrax used to terrorize the nation in a nerve-racking but as yet unsolved crime committed a year ago? Our government has said that the deadly anthrax brew was almost certainly not an imported product, so why has its origin eluded the world's most elaborate security force?"

A BIGGIE!!! The anthrax attacks had to be a DOD or CIA test gone wrong, on two US Democratic Senators from states with Republican Governors. Otherwise that particular villian would have been found. It's just too unique a weapons system to not have found the origin.

And on and on. Not a bad article. Too bad some people regard reporting and opinion such as this as treason. Now THAT'S the real attack on democracy, an attack on America as some of us remember America.
