It seems that this cycle is filled with the focus on racism and the past. I intend to take you on a little journey through time courtesy of the SDAI library.
Sit back and enjoy the ride.

What Shall We Do With the Japs?
We will never roll back the Japanese-we can only plow them under as we move forward.
Under the Japanese code, Japan cannot accept the terms of "Unconditional Surrender." To the Jap, the word defeat does not exist. To him, death becomes the individual form of victory. Therefore, every male Jap wearing a uniform will have to beexterminated or will commt hara-kiri before we win in the Far East.
What shall we do then with what remains of the Japanese people? Re-educate them? You cannot uproot in one decade centuries of fanaticism. Restore them to power among nations? That would be suicide! There are several ways out. First, every Jap still remaining alive who had a hand in the Japanese atrocities dating back to 1931 should be condemned to death. Those factories and power plants not destroyed should be wrecked and removed. In fact, the industrial civilization of Japan should be eradicated and Japan restored to the primitive agricultural society from which we once emancipated her.
But, because even then I would not trust the Japs, for decades to come Japan should be under the military control of the United Nations.

There we have an example of CBS - circa 1943. The dirty "Jap" rhetoric in its heydey. Democrat President Franklin Roosevelt felt the same, and did not even trust Americans of Japanese Ancestry and had all the Japanese-Americans removed from their homes and interned in camps.

Yes, those wonderfully racist democrats imprisoned 110,000 Americans in concentration camps - for nothing more than the color of their "yellow" skin and the fact they were dirty "Japs". Where is the outrage? In 1943, CBS and the democrats were clearly in cahoots - riling up a populace to "eradicate" the "Jap" menace.
But let's continue on our trip through time...to the birth of Harlem as a home for African Americans...and how they came to be there.
Excerpted from the book:
New World A-Coming
by Roy Ottley
The Harlem Negroes first entered, about 1900, was a cheerful neighborhood of broad drives, brownstone dwellings and large apartment houses where the white gentry resided in suburban aloofness. Within a decade the growth became nothing short of phenomenal and Harlem began to take definite shape and character as a Negro community.
Life there seemed to provide easy pickings, so that all the fabulous characters produced in Black America at one time or another descended upon this happy hunting ground. One of the earliest was the amazing Marcus Garvey who preached with wonderful zeal of a Black House as opposed to a White House; a Black Congress as opposed to a White Congress; of Black generals, Black Aristocracy and a Black God, sweeping negroes along a mighty wave of Black Nationalism.
A squat, ugly black man, grandson of an African slave, Marcus Garvey was leader of the spectacular Back-to-Africa movement, which noisily explored the fascinating abstraction of an African utopia.
Seeking an economic solution of the Negro's problem, Garvey held that the negro must become independent of white capital and white employers. Tangible expression to his idea was given to his idea when he formed a Negro merchant marine, known as the Black Star Line, to develop trade relations with the darker peoples of the world. Ten million dollars was the announced need to capitalize the Black Star Line. Shares were sold to followers for five dollars each and in a short time Garvey proudly announced the acquisition of the first boat, the Yarmouth, rechristened the Frederick Douglass.
Negroes were thrilled. Thousands journeyed down to the Hudson River, where the boat was moored, and happily paid fifty cents to go aboard and shake hands with the all-Negro crew.
The ship's launching was spectacular. But loaded down with a cargo of liquor to be delivered in Cuba, the boat foundered a few miles outside of Newport News. When the news reached Garvey, he hotly denounced the crew for becoming drunk on the cargo and of navigating dice, instead of the ship. He charged the Negro captain with being in the pay of enemy white folks, and gained tremendous sympathy which he carefully exploited. Imperceptibly the movement shifted to the nationalistic scheme for the redemption of Africa.
"It is only a question of a few more years," he solemnly assured his followers "when Africa will be completely colonized by Negroes as Europe is by the white race."
Anticipating that great day, he formed a social order modeled on a somewhat feudal pattern, and called it the "Court of Ethiopia" He himself modestly assumed the title of "Provisional President-General of Africa."
But his boldest stroke was the creation of a Black Religion with a Black God! On his instigation the African Orthodox Church emerged as the true church of the black man. An impressive ceremony was held for the purpose of "canonization" of the Lord Jesus Christ as the "Black Man of Sorrow" and the Blessed Virgin Mary as a Black Madonna.
Since a chosen people must be undefiled, Marcus Garvey naturally pontificated that only those who were "one hundred per cent Negroid" could hold office in the organization, and thus carried his all-black world to its logical conclusion- racial purity.
Not alone did he advocate that sharp racial lines be drawn between whites and blacks, but he also insisted upon divisions within the Negro race - between blacks and mulattoes.
Garvey's movement gathered terrific momentum, even to a detail like the manufacture of black baby dolls for children. Negroes swarmed into Harlem, swept on a great tide of race consciousness. But Garvey was unprepared for the first real surging wave which was to engulf and eventually wash away his organization. Early in 1923, after repeated complaints by Negroes, the federal government investigated the Black Star Line. Garvey was indicted and finally convicted. He was charged a thousand dollars and sentenced to five years in prison. After two years Coolidge pardoned him and he was deported as an undesirable alien. Garvey died in obscurity in 1940.

Why in heck did SDAI post that article? Well for several reasons. Today we here about segregation and its evils, as regarding Lott's statement yet it seems the ones who are calling for Lott's censure are themselves the most racist and segregated of all! The congressional Black Caucus is a racist organization. It is nothing more than another Marcus Garvey anti-white racist group. They have segregated themselves just as did the Negroes who came rushing to Harlem to hear of the Black God and Black racial purity. Is the Black Caucus demanding Lott's censure going to censure themselves?! Should there be a White Caucus? Should segregation and racism be acceptable only in the case of African-Americans? Clearly the Black Caucus needs to be disbanded. They suffer from the same racist underpinings as Marcus Garvey's elaborate racist "Black Congress."
They need to disband at once for anyone to take their claims of being against racism seriously.
Again they are another example of the mirror principle. They are very racist and so they point the finger at everyone else and shout racist!
Yes Harlem today is segregated and in its current state not by whites - but by the foolish anti-white racism of Marcus Garvey and those who flocked towards him. The exact same racist mindset of Maxine Waters and the Black Caucus - who are keeping blacks segregated and using them to empower herself just as surely as Marcus Garvey did.
Hmmm. I see it is getting late and I have still another journey and lesson in history to take you upon...well that will have to wait until tomorrow friends....
remember racism is a pervasive disease that afflicts those who decry it almost as often as those who say they support it.
Until the next journey,
