Thanks to modern medicine
I am actually able to do stuff.
The 2 thimgs that are cool are:
1- the cryo cuff with an inulated refillable chillpack that connects to an ice chiller to kep the whole region more comfortable
2- A nerve block to the shoulder hooked up to a tiny metered pump that delivers a numbing agent directly to the nerve on a regular basis so that I have to take nothing stronger than celebrex for pain.
The surgeon only had to shave bone spurs that had not yet sliced the tendons, so it seems that I get off light.
I shudder to think of the alternative.
Thanks for asking,
Ed
