People raised with Rambo think war is antiseptic, the people who die along the way didn't feel anything and don't have anyone who loved them or needed them.
Conservatives seem to think that slaughtering innocent people is "getting Saddam".
It's easy for people who have seen the killed and maimed, on both sides, to abhor war. A bit harder for those who haven't.
Clearly, if it were WMD and the means to deliver them that was the issue, North Korea would be the target.
If it's the First Daddy's pride and oil, then Iraq is the target. And I for one, and apparently this guy for another, don't want to see an American or Iraqi die for GHWBs pride, or GWB and Cheney's oil.
What's wrong with that?
To conservatives, who seem to believe that lives are nothing compared to a buck and pride, believe that the folks who die were just in the wrong place at the wrong time, and that if God loved them they would have lived. Shades of the Inquisition.
I have to hand it to this guy to come to a rational point of view without having been in war. Though I think he was married to Madonna, which looks to be a terrible fate, just horrid.

War is not a nice thing.
