<They're not backwards to them....that's their LIFE! And their culture.

. . . But we still consider insane asylums rather backwards. I will continue to apply the same logic I use in judging whether a place is a mental institution as I would in determining if a society (not culture) is a little cooky to me.

They also enjoy rioting over a cartoon they think is Ayatollah Khomeini, but could not be because he was not in power at the time it was drawn. (someone literate had to put it in the newspaper). Most logical people can
graps concepts such as this.
