Israel's fate
The absolute and total Arab (and by extension, Palestinian) opposition to the existence of Israel is the single fact that I seem to be unable to drill into the heads of those who think the problem is that Israel has not bent backwards far enough for peace.
As I have posted before, if Israel went back to its original borders, removed all the settlements, and recognized the abandoned land as an independent Palestinian state, and gave Yasser Arafat ten billion dollars, the Palestinians would still demand the extinction of Israel. Absolutely nothing would change.
