<Surely you don't really think it is the obligation of the US to go around "saving" the poor, subjugated, and otherwise dominated people around the globe? And do so by using force to save them?

How would you do it? Just curious. Or maybe it works best just to ignore them? What was your position on the war in Bosnia at the time? How do you feel about the old Abraham Lincoln Brigade? Were they out of line? Heck, Hitler never attacked the United States. Why were we picking on the poor guy? There were a lot more Jews where those came from.

I wonder where the heck all these "self-determination" and "leave sovereign nations to handle their own internal affairs" liberals were when the subject of apartheid in South Africa came up a couple of decades back. Who were we to tell those oppressive rulers how to run their own nation?

I watched years of rank hypocrisy from the Left as it screamed about oppression from right-wing dictators and utterly ignored left-wing tyrannies that were far worse.

I guess some oppressors are more equal than others.
