Disney pulls out of Bangladesh and those folks at the sweatshops join the hordes who are not lucky enough to get a job with Disney and starve to death.

Sure, Disney could pay more - but as long as there are BILLIONS of people whose yearly income equals about $33 (source CIA) you are going to find a LOT of sweat shops.

The truth is those folks are lucky compared to some of their neighbors and they know it. That's also why unions can't get a foothold -cause there's just far to many able-bodied people in search of ANY work and ANY money.

No, I'm not heartless. But taking money away from Disney will not help those people in Bangladesh - quite the contrary - it will only add to their misery.

SO in essence, the gist of the class teaches anti-westernism at the expense of the rest of the world's lives.
