Would anything about WWII have changed had we had the Internet?
Based on 1940 technology, of course. We wouldn’t want to violate the Prime Directive. So everyone has a separate room to house their vacuum tub computer.
Or, if you like, had we had such global communications, such as the Internet, were we common folks could have chatted, would things have changed any?
Might be a great story for Harry Turtledove to write- I’d write it, but I have my plate full.
